ReplyDeletethis shows that curley does not have much control over his wife and that he should tell her to stay at home instead of going into the bunk house this fits in with the book because women did not have rights back then and they where said to only stay in the house and cook and clean
in the book of mice and men, they judge curleys wife alot with out really knowing her.

they booys in the bunk are judging curleys wife and saying that he married a tart. they could of got this impression of they way she dresses or the way she looks. although they could just be sayiogn this because they are jelous and do not have a wife of there own.
many of the men do not speak to curleys wife.
