ReplyDeleteShowing that George cares for Lennie as he is dumb and dosent really know what he is doing so George fells sorry for Lennie. This is a singh of freindship because it shows that George cares for lennie as a freind.
in chapter one of, of mice and men, it shows us the relationship between george and lennie.

the way lennie says that him and george have a futre it shows how much george means to him.
when lennie says that they have a future it shows that they are going to be the best of friends for a while. when lennie says to george "with us it aint like that" it suggests that they are different. it could be differnt like bad they carry trouble, or different as in good with a good friendship stick by each other not like others.
george and lennies friendship in the first chapter seems to be solid and firm with no cracks. they both look out for each other and seem to have a deep friendship.

ReplyDeleteThis quotation shows that when Lennie gets scared he always turns to George in hope that his friend can in some way help him. This is one of the reasons for why it was important to always have somebody there for you because if you were in a moment of danger and were panicking, you would look for some sort of help from the friend that you have, giving you some sort of relief in a way.
